the Carriage Assembly , Trailing Cable and Tube System into position from reading the Encoder Strip. The Scan Axis Motor is located on the left of the printer and tension is created on the opposite side of the printer using a Tensioner.

The Carriage belt can be the cause a multiple different system error codes, a
majority of them link to an ‘obstruction’ near the Carriage Assembly, as the Carriage
Belt may be damaged and not connected properly to Tensioner or general wear and tear after about 6 to 9 years,  Also standing for long amount of time with out using the printer.

System Error: 86:01

-Problem with the Line Sensor

Problem Description:
An error has been detected with the Line Sensor.

Corrective Action:
Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect
the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.

Replace the Line Sensor.
